The Frames are here!!!!

Who would of thought I would be so excited by timber! The frames are finally here after a week delay because of the rain. The pic below shows the entry hallway where the height of the ceiling will be 3 metres.

Here is the entry, to the right is the master bedroom, to the left, where there is no framework, is the 3 car garage.

This is an internal shot from the family room looking towards the built in pantry in the kitchen. You can see down the hallway towards the front door.

This shows the back of the house, where the alfresco bifold doors will be. The builder said the frame people have made the wrong frame and the doorway should in fact be a little winder. He kindly said he'd alter it. (Once again, we do have a conscilatory builder)

There are a lot of large windows - looking at the frames made me realise we are very open to the views!

Roll on the next stage!!!

How great is that!! Were hoping for a house that has big windows. We have these doors that slide open. We will have five, and then it slides open into a corner. That will be opening onto the patio.

Something I noticed, was that your frame seems to be bigger then the house next to it. And it hasnt even got the roof on yet! Is it just the angle of the picture?

Lets get the next stage!

Wow. I have been looking at this blog for a while now, and I just thought I would say what a lovely home it is coming to be.

It looks very exciting! It has even helped me design my new home.

Great Work!

Hi Sandra... I'd love to know the address of your house blog - if you have one - so I can see what you are up to! The pic is a little deceiving due to the angle, however, yes, ours will be taller than theirs. Our house has been built up slightly on the block at the back, but at the front they are fairly similar. Our ceiling height is 8 foot 6 (approx 2650 I think). The entrance hall will be 3 meters high so yes that portion is way higher than the other house. Of course we feel our house is way nicer!!!!

Hi Amy... I am glad I have some viewers out there in "cyber land"... I too love looking at other blogs to see what everyone is doing. I love the blogs that show finishes and paint colours! I'd love to see your new place if you also had a blog...

Blog on everyone xxx

Hi Sandra. I would love to see what you are doing with your fixtures. So far you love the colours and things I like so it will be interesting to see what you have chosen.
